There is a magical stand of sugars that I spent an afternoon laying underneath, healing my heart. I looked up at the branches for quite a long time and watched their gentle sway in the breeze. Their cones hang like exquisite offerings to the universe, and these particular trees gifted the largest I’ve ever seen. I hope I grow up to be as generous and loving-hearted as these trees.
