Do you have place or pet close to your heart? Often our beloved pets, places or experiences don't express their full essence in photos. I would be delighted to create a painting that embodies the unique feelings you have for a place or pet.
It is an incredible honor to paint something you or a loved one will cherish for a lifetime. Many of the commissions I paint are gifts for someone dear.
Most commissions are done from photographs, but I will be thrilled to hike to the location you love and paint your piece en plein air (painting size & location permitting). If photographs are used, I prefer to work from my own. Sometimes it's not possible however, such as a postmortem piece, or if the pet or location is not local. In that case, your quality photographs are important for a successful piece.

Yes, a nonrefundable deposit is required to schedule your commission. Please click here for deposit amounts, which begin at $200.

Once your deposit is received, supplies will be ordered and I will begin the design process which may include travel for photographs (travel fee may be added if outside the Strawberry / Sonora, California area). Your commission will be scheduled according to my availability following the estimated delivery date of supplies.*
*I live in the mountains and deliveries sometimes take a week longer than other locations.

My experience painting on location is ideal for the landscape you love so much. I specialize in painting wild nature! Whatever you choose, please remember it will be in keeping with my loose, impressionist style.
Below are your available options:
Locations: forests, mountains, lakes, rivers, meadows, valleys, etc.
Fauna: dogs, cats, horses, birds, etc.
Flora: trees, gardens, vegetables, fruits, etc.

I put my heart and soul into each painting and want you to fall in love with it. However, it may happen that after the agreed upon revisions you are not satisfied. That's okay. You are not obligated to purchase the painting, however the deposit is nonrefundable. I will keep the painting and reserve the right to revise it for my personal inventory.

I reserve all rights to the image and may replicate it on greeting cards or prints, and may post images for publicity purposes, such as websites and social media. However, I will never share images of an unfinished painting prior to your approval. If your painting is a gift, I will never publish images before the gift is delivered. You have the right to post images of the painting on any personal or public platforms, but may not incorporate it onto salable goods. Kindly include a credit to Andrea Broglio, the artist. If you would like to place the image on salable goods, please inquire about licensing options.
