Original plein air painting | 12×9” | oil on panel
Board’s Crossing, California
I used to hike and paint with my little Corgi-pom, Ravi, who accompanied me on this hike. But as he ages, the elements become tougher on him. He wore his jacket while I painted, but once I noticed him shivering through it, I had to wrap this one up. It was warm enough when I started, but the winter sun drops quickly in river canyons.
